Winch fixed. Saturday. We can fly. Weather Expected to Clear by 11am

Writer's picture: GraemeGraeme

We managed to get the winch drum fixed today thanks to the efforts of Pat Cirillo, local contractor at Mangrove. Pat has come to our aid on several occasions in the past.

It is great that local residents are willing to help us out when we could do with assistance. Another neighbour, Lynn Muirhead, also came to our assistance with the loan of a tractor when ours was out of action.

If we can raise a crew tomorrow we can get the rope on and fly. Please RSVP if you can come. There were a couple of aefs wanting to fly on the winch.

I may be able to help later in the day but the plan at the moment is to fly up to Cessnock in the morning for Keith to look at my engine
